Romex™

The Romex™ brand is made by the Southwire Company, and is ubiquitous in the construction industry. Their newer SIMpull™ products are much easier to install due to the smoother jacketing.

Romex™ is available in 25-foot, 50-foot, and 100-foot boxes, and also in 250-foot (and larger) rolls. You can choose your particular installation needs "by the box", especially if your line runs are not equal. audio excellence az regularly cryo-treats Romex™ in these lengths....treated cost is dependent on length and weight. CARDAS

Cardas has a long and well-deserved reputation for high-quality cabling and connectors for decades, and has introduced their UL-listed 10/2, 600 volt in-wall cable.  It consists of three 10-gauge, solid-core conductors (hot, neutral, and ground), each formed with an exterior dielectric, so it is not a bare wire product like Romex.  The solid-core conductors are then tightly encased with a heavy, CL-2 rated outer dielectric, glossy and smooth for easier installation around corners, studs, and joists.  Cardas starts with 5/9's copper bar stock, which is among the best raw materials, then draw the copper via diamond dies, similar in process to their highly-regarded stranded wire products.  This results in an "ultra-pure, super-soft" copper that gets closer to true 6/9's copper, i.e. with fewer contaminants and impurities.  The drawn copper is then coated with a special vapor that acts as a oxidation-retardant.  All-in-all, a very high quality in-wall solution, especially for long runs from panel to receptacle.

The Cardas may be ordered by-the-foot, as much or as little as necessary....$11.50 per foot.
