In any audio component, the resonance characteristic of the chassis will eventually dominate the sound quality. With over25 years of experience as a leader the field of high fidelity reproduction, we have applied our specialized knowledge to make the chassis of the MTB series simple and elegant, as every littlecomponent adds its own resonance.

Our thorough research into the nature of materials and their interactions has enabled us to choose the ideal combination of parts to create a unified whole. We even considered in detail which washers and screws would yield the best result. To harmonize the structure we developed a unique heat treatment process and further tailored it for each individual component.

Together with our own super quality receptacles and internal wiring, we believe we have realized the ultimate power distribution system for audiophiles.

Internal Wiring

2.0mm dia., high purity (4N) solid Silver, extensively annealed in low temperature to remove mechanical distortion and stress from the extrusion process. We apply a further highly controlled process to form a smoother and stronger surface for distortion free electron transport as well as to eliminate any mechanical weakness that may have arisen as a result of the annealing process. This allows Silver to break through to a new level of sound quality.

Internal connections to each outlet are independent to avoid interference and promote even delivery of power. All connections are lead free.

Further Resonance Control

The body of our receptacles is made from glass filled nylon for high heat resistance, rigidity and high level resonance absorption. Fitted with 4 brass spikes with the option to configure as a set of three if so desired.

Electrical Contacts (Receptacle)

We tested every possible option for this crucial part and concluded that highly polished deoxidized Phosphor Bronze would be optimal as a base material to provide the most secure and least resonant contact. To finish and to determine the final sound quality we apply a thick (1.5 micron) Silver directly to the Bronze substrate, then polish that surface twice and finally apply a (0.3) layer of Rhodium plate to finish. This process is strictly controlled to guarantee optimum balance and sound quality. These contacts are supported by 24K Gold plated non-magnetic brass fittings.

Electromagnetic Interference Control

Mains inlet area is protected with an EMI absorbing layer.
